TUSC 2019 Fall United Cup of Champions

September 29, 2019– Over September 27, 28, and 29, Tennessee United Soccer Club hosted their annual Fall United Cup of Champions soccer tournament. The tournament hosted a total of 7,500 people: 2,500 athletes and 5,000 attendees. UCOC games were played across Hendersonville and Goodlettsville at Drakes Creek Park, Volunteer Park at Arrowhead, and Moss Wright Park. 193 competitive youth from across the Southeast (including Tennessee, Missouri, Kentucky, Georgia, and Mississippi) with players aged 7 to 18 played a total of 320 games during the weekend. According to TSSA, the TUSC 2019 Fall United Cup of Champions boasted the most sanctioned Tennessee State League matches during a tournament in state history. Referees were also brought in from Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, and Kentucky.

“…we had a great experience….all the details (were) covered from the condition of our fields to the hotel accommodations. We will definitely have this on our schedule each fall!” said Jon Callahan, USA North ‘01 Boys.

The tournament and area are becoming a destination draw for their great location, fantastic facilities, competitive games, and referee training opportunities: a great testament to what TUSC has grown with the cities of Goodlettsville and Hendersonville.
