Financial Assistance Program

At Tennessee United Soccer Club, we are committed to making competitive soccer accessible while also ensuring the long-term sustainability of our club. It is the intent of TUSC to give players from all financial backgrounds and resources the opportunity to participate. As such, we are proud to offer a financial assistance program to families who need help with the expenses related to being a part of a TUSC team. Our financial assistance program is designed to support families with demonstrated need while encouraging shared investment in the player experience.

financial assistance philosophy

TUSC financial assistance is intended to:

  • Provide access to players who may not otherwise be able to participate
  • Maintain fairness and consistency across all applicants
  • Encourage family commitment and involvement

Financial assistance is partial in most cases, and families should expect to contribute a portion of the total cost.

Final awards are determined based on demonstrated need, available funding, and number of applicants.

Important Notes

  • Financial Assistance is awarded annually (covers fall and spring seasons)
  • Applications are not automatically renewed – you must apply each year
  • Funding is limited and not all applicants will receive assistance
  • Awards may vary from year to year based on club resources

** new for 2026-2027 season **

Family Contribution Requirements

All families receiving financial assistance are expected to contribute in at least one of the following ways:

  • Paying a portion of fees not covered by the scholarship
  • Participating in club fundraising efforts
  • Volunteering at club events or activities

Details will be communicated upon award.
