Welcome to Tennessee United, Reed Losee! TUSC enlists the expertise of a new TUSC U11-U12 Director of Coaching to continue the success of the program and strengthen player development.
Reed brings a strong background in both playing and coaching to the club. As a player, he developed through the Michigan Wolves Boys Academy, continued at Northwestern University, and competed with the Michigan Bucks in the PDL.
In coaching, Reed has built an impressive record across youth, high school, and collegiate soccer. He has coached with Vardar Soccer Club, served as Girls Director of Coaching for U11-U15 at Sporting United, and led as Girls Director of Coaching for U13-U19 at Michigan Development Academy. Reed also contributed at the collegiate level as Men’s Assistant Coach at Rochester College and worked with the Groves High School Girls Varsity team.
With experience developing players across multiple age groups and competitive levels, Reed is recognized for a commitment to player growth, strong analytics, leadership, and the ability to teach players and guide coaches.
Coach Losee shared, “I’m fired up to join Tennessee United and jump into a club that’s clearly passionate about developing players the right way. Coming from Detroit, I’m excited to get on the field with our U11–U12 players and work alongside coaches and families who are all-in on growth and development. These are such important years, and my focus is on building confident, creative, and technically strong players while creating an environment that challenges and inspires them every day to build a lifelong love for soccer. I can’t wait to get started and help push the level forward across these age groups.”
“We are excited about Reed joining our Club,” said Executive Director, Jonathan Wayland. “In such an important phase of development at the U11-12 age group, we wanted to bring in someone with energy and passion that would fit in well with our staff. We are looking forward to seeing the growth and development within our 9v9 program.”
Until he can move to Tennessee full time in July, Reed will be able to be a part of the U11-U12 tryouts next week. Make sure to get registered for U8-U12 tryouts on May 11th and 13th. https://tnunitedsc.com/
