Our camp philosophy is to provide each player a meaningful and impassioned appreciation for the game of soccer. We want our players to grow loving the game and for them one day to become the next generation of High School, college and professional players, coaches, administrators and referees.
We are committed to develop and teach every soccer player in our communities regardless of club or association. We want to make available and share our knowledge, experiences and passion for the good of the game.
- Our Camp Program Foundation - Every aspect, coaching point, teaching moment is focused on developing the four broad areas of the game: technical, tactical, psychological and fitness all under skill level and age appropriate activities designed to teach and encourage our players to make their own decisions on the field.
- Our Developmental Pillars
- Age Appropriate activities - These activities are fundamental to ensure adequate soccer development within their growth patterns. We will blend these activities with the rest of our soccer curriculum. You will learn and refine passing, dribbling, trapping, shooting, breakaways situations.
- Foot-skills Development - Our program is designed to provide hundreds of touches on the ball to increase confidence on the ball and to get better touches which will increase player’s self- esteem.
- Functional Training - Players are challenged and encouraged to adapt their play to specific situations that relate to the actual game and enlighten the child’s creativity.
- Small Sided Games - The game itself is the best teacher of the game. Our qualified and dedicated coaching staff will encourage players to discover the game, to try out what has been learned and these games will introduce and reinforce tactical awareness necessary to play in a team environment.
- Mini Kickers - We have a wealth of experience and a certified staff ready to teach and have a ton of FUN with our 4-6 year olds. Their curriculum is designed to combine soccer basic skills and movements providing great benefits such as building a healthy lifestyle, heart, lungs, bones, muscles and joints, develop confidence in their movement and motor skills and positive self-esteem.
- Our staff is comprised of fully qualified and licensed coaches with playing and teaching experience. We specialized and have the knowledge in training boys and girls ages 4 and older. We understand the value of nurturing and provide personal attention to each and every player. We will strive to accomplish a ratio 1:12 coach to player. During the first day of camp our coaching staff will execute our curriculum. Simultaneously, coaches will be informally evaluating each player’s skill level and will make recommendations to move any player as needed to accomplish a positive camp experience. Because of this, ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME.
- Camp Directors - The Camp Program will be directed by TUSC Directors of Coaching.
